It’s that time of year again, when the stress accumulates and its nearing the holiday season but its okayh because the workaholic in me just kicked into 3rd gear today, I’m pacing myself so that I only go into 5th gear in the middle of winter break.
I felt overwhelmed with everything that I wanted to do and then I got some good advice: never start out trying to build a wall, focus on laying a brick as perfectly as possible. Now its gonna take a lot of time and patience but once you get there, you’ll realize it was all worth it.
So that’s one I’m doing, one perfect brick at a time.
I love how amazingly relevant this is to me at the moment.
In fact, I came to the exact same sentiments a couple of days ago, minus the whole brick metaphor.
Patience was never something I was good at, but yes … one step at a time.
Let’s see how far I end up getting.
